Doc's Restaurant - Photoshoot for On The Rocks or Straight Upstate
Named for its proximity to the Glens Falls hospital, Doc's is probably the best kept secret north of Saratoga. A glamorous spiral staircase in the Historic Park Theater building brings you down to an intimate, upscale dining room. An enormous, traditional wooden bar spans the length of the wall to the left, while high tops are separated from booths by a half-wall that splits the restaurant down the center. Our expectations were high - the new bartender, Ethan McKee has transformed the cocktail menu since re-opening after quarantine. We were delighted also, with a smattering of small plates to give us an idea of the menu. Suffice to say our high expectations were exceeded.
